Skills:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and Spanish language
  • Knowledge of medical terminology in both languages
  • Consecutive interpreting required
  • Basic Simultaneous interpreting required
  • Translation Experience preferred
  • Knowledge of SDL Trados preferred
  • Microsoft Office

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Some level of education in Spanish
  • Formal education in English
  • 2 years interpreting experience preferred
  • 2 years experience in healthcare environment preferred
  • Produce BTG or related medical interpreting course required
  • Basic use of Simultaneous equipment preferred, will provide training within 3 months of hire

The ideal candidate will also be flexible as it relates to the following:

  • On-call hours
  • Night shifts
  • Travel offsite

 Additional Information

Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
Rotating Shifts may be required.
