Sherman West Court, an affiliate of Sherman Health Systems, is a 120 bed residential and medical facility, fully licensed by the State of Illinois and Medicare certified. Sherman West Court provides its residents and patients with short and long-term medical and nursing care, as well as rehabilitation and social services.  To provide the maximum in benefits and services, West Court offers three levels of care: skilled, sheltered and Medicare. 

The Director of Nursing will be responsible for the overall management & policy development for the nursing department at Sherman's long-term care facility. The position is all encompassing:  Quality Assurance, Compliance & Risk Management, Budget Development, Medical Records, Rehabilitation, Training & Development, Admissions & Occupancy Rates and Contract Negotiations. 

Successful candidate will have familiarity with and support of cultural change movements with an emphasis on the importance of employee/customer relationship to realize positive outcomes. The most successful candidate will have a gracious and positive attitude toward the greater good of the community it serves and the staff that devotes themselves to the residents and patients they care for.

Requirements:

- At least 1 year of DON experience in a sub-acute setting 

- Current Illinois RN License

- At least 3 years of supervisory experience
