Job Description:
Sherman West Court, an affiliate of Sherman Health, is a 120 bed residential and medical facility, fully licensed by the State of Illinois, Medicare certified and JCAHO accredited. Sherman West Court provides its residents and patients with short and long-term medical and nursing care, as well as rehabilitation and social services.
The CNA utilizes medical and technical skills to provide support to patients and healthcare staff. Assists with treatments ordered by physician and supervised by RN. Assists patients with dressing and undressing. Reports abnormal assessment findings. Reports any changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Transports patients. Sets up room, delivers specimens and performs vitals.
Requirements:
Currently a certified nurse aide in the state of Illinois.
Must have CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment
Additional Information
Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
