The Manager, Logistics Operations, is responsible for owning and optimizing the Sherman Health System supply chain operations which includes inventory management, supply replenishment, receiving, internal and external distribution, mail, and courier services. Responsibilities: - Effectively leads and supervises central supply, mail room, courier, and receiving personnel to ensure proper work flow and adherence to department processes and policies - Develops and implements inventory management processes utilizing current professional practices and conducts cyclical and annual inventories - Develops annual budget, manages/ reconciles monthly budget reports and provides variance reports - Evaluates staff for strengths and weaknesses; develops training plans/ objectives as corrective measures - Collaborates with customers to enhance service and improve financial outcomes - Develops/ updates policies and procedures to ensure quality customer service and compliance with national, state, and local regulatory agencies REQUIREMENTS: - Associates degree in business, finance, or accounting from a 2-year accredited college or university. A Bachelor's degree is greatly preferred - At least 8 years of medical supply chain experience in an acute care hospital - At least 5 years of leadership/ supervisory experience |
